Eco-friendly packaging at Dalpo store - new e-commerce standard

At the Dalpo store, we fulfill orders for customers from all over Poland every day. As the number of shipments increases, so does our responsibility for how packages reach recipients. That's why we have launched a modern packing station, which streamlines work and allows us to offer solutions that meet contemporary business standards, including those that are more environmentally friendly.

This is an element of our broader approach to development, which involves combining operational efficiency with responsibility, both towards customers and the environment.

Eco-friendly packaging - what has changed?

We have developed a packaging system focused on efficiency, ergonomics, and high-quality shipment protection. By using modern equipment and well-chosen packaging materials, every package leaving our warehouse is properly protected and aesthetic – and where possible, we use solutions that help reduce waste.

In our daily work, we use:

  • 100% biodegradable water-activated paper tape
    (also available for customers in our online store:
    See product),
  • paper fillers instead of bubble wrap or foam,
  • environmentally friendly packaging,
  • ergonomic tools enabling faster and repeatable packaging, such as a semi-automatic water tape dispenser.

The result? Every shipment leaves our logistics center thoroughly prepared for transport, with care for its safety, neat appearance, and with the aim of reducing unnecessary waste where possible. We don't always abandon classic solutions, but when we can, we demonstrate responsibility and choose alternatives.

Also available in our offer are manual water tape dispensers as well as an automatic dispenser. Thanks to them, tape application becomes quick, convenient, and precise.

Why did we choose eco-friendly packaging?

Because we want to combine what is practical with what truly matters. Eco-friendly packaging does not mean compromising – quite the opposite. The materials we use perfectly protect shipments while looking great. Paper tape or filler? They work just as effectively as their plastic counterparts but have a smaller environmental impact and better meet our customers' expectations. What's more, water-activated tape is incredibly efficient – allowing a carton to be securely sealed with just one strip. Unlike traditional plastic tapes, there's no need to wrap the entire package – sealing the top and bottom flaps is sufficient.
