3M™ VHB™ 4915F is a transparent, 1.5 mm thick double-sided foam tape designed for permanent, strong, and aesthetic bonding of transparent materials – such as glass, PMMA, and polycarbonate. Thanks to the universal acrylic adhesive and a hard acrylic foam core, it provides high mechanical strength and resistance to external conditions, UV radiation, and moisture. It is ideal for applications where an invisible bond and maximum aesthetic appearance are important. It eliminates the need for mechanical fastening methods such as rivets, screws, or welds, reducing production time and increasing design possibilities.

Application tips

The bonding surface should be clean, dry, and degreased. The tape should be applied with even pressure, avoiding air bubbles. Full bonding strength is achieved after 72 hours, but the process can be accelerated by heating the joint to 60°C.
