Types of electrical tapes

Electrical tapes differ in the material they are made of, often also in color and specific purpose. The most common types are:

1. PVC/PVC electrical tape– it is very flexible, self-extinguishing, and can be attached to various surfaces both outdoors and indoors.

2. Cloth electrical tape– reinforced with a fabric mesh, it is more durable than PVC tapes, and easy to apply. No special tools are needed to cut it; it can be easily torn by hand (however, once adhered to a surface, it becomes tear-resistant).
