3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hi-Temp New Formula is a single-component, solvent-free, aluminum-filled epoxy adhesive specifically designed for applications requiring very high temperature resistance. Thermally cured at 121°C, it provides exceptional bond strength with durability in extreme conditions – from 82°C to as high as 177°C. It has a paste consistency, making it ideal for bonding metals and high-temperature molded plastics, such as carbon fiber epoxy composites and phenolics. Thanks to its vented formula, it creates a dense, uniform, bubble-free bond, ensuring reliability even in the most demanding industrial applications.

Benefits and properties
✅ High-temperature resistance – reliable performance in conditions up to 177°C
✅ High bond strength – ensures durability even in heavily used joints
✅ Paste consistency – allows for precise application and gap filling
✅ Vented formula – eliminates the risk of voids in the bond
✅ Aluminum-filled – improves thermal conductivity and thermal stability
✅ Single-component formula – simplifies handling and reduces preparation time
Application tips
The adhesive should be applied to a clean, dry, and properly prepared surface. Application can be done using a spatula or automatic dispensing systems. Curing occurs at 121°C, providing high mechanical strength and resistance to environmental factors. Due to its aluminum filling and dense consistency, the adhesive forms bonds resistant to vibration, temperature, and abrasion.
