3M™ Scotch-Weld™ TL43 is a blue, general-purpose threadlocker with medium breakaway torque, designed for permanent yet removable fastening of threaded connections. It features medium viscosity and the ability to work effectively even on slightly oily surfaces, which greatly facilitates application in industrial conditions. The product not only prevents loosening of components due to vibrations but also protects against corrosion, moisture, and shocks. Connections secured with TL43 can be disassembled using standard hand tools.

Application guidelines

Before application, clean the threads of loose contaminants; however, complete degreasing is not required – the product tolerates the presence of oils. Apply an appropriate amount of the product directly to the thread, then assemble the components. The connection achieves full strength after complete curing, which occurs at room temperature.
