
3M™ VHB™ 4991F is a 2.3 mm thick, high-strength, flexible acrylic tape designed for permanent bonding of a wide range of high and medium surface energy substrates. The flexible foam core is coated with a modified acrylic adhesive, providing excellent adhesion to aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, polycarbonate, and ABS, among others. The tape offers very good resistance to plasticizers, aging, UV radiation, and solvents. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, providing durable and aesthetic bonds without the need for drilling, riveting, or welding.

Application tips
Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and dried before application. The tape should be applied with even pressure, ensuring full contact with the surface. Full bond strength is achieved after 72 hours. The process can be accelerated by heating. Ideal for durable constructions requiring resistance to harsh conditions.
